Introducing the Core2 CRM solution for FileMaker – the perfect multiuser cross-platform solution for getting your company’s data centralized and organized. The Core is a powerful contact manager that can organize and manage your companies and  individuals, correspondences such as e-mails, letters and faxes, appointments and group calendars, notes and documents, tasks and to-do’s, and mass mail campaigns and much much more.

0:43 The Core also integrates with third-party programs such as Microsoft Outlook, QuickBooks, Microsoft Entourage and Apple Address Book allowing you to have your company data virtually anywhere you need it.

0:53 The Core is built using FileMaker which is the world’s number one Workgroup database software. The Core is cross-platform and able to run on both Windows and Macintosh and is sold completely unlocked so it can be easily customized in FileMaker. You can also use the Core on your own computer or share the Core with your associates for simultaneous access in a multiuser environment. There are many additional benefits to the Core, but let’s take a closer look at the Core and some of its features.

1:27 Clicking here adds a new contact. This checkbox indicates if the record is an individual or a company or organization. Clicking here navigates between the records. If I want to send correspondence to Melinda, I click one of these buttons here. In this case, I will create a new e-mail. I can also apply information from an optional template with merge fields. Various other options are available such as spellcheck, print and preview, options to add additional recipient addresses to this e-mail, or it can get sent to a mailing list or a found set. In this case I will just send an e-mail to Melinda. Simply select “send” and you are done.

2:22 All correspondences are stored here on the activities tab. You also have the option to select the list view button to display all the activities in a traditional FileMaker list view. I can assign mailing lists to various contacts or to found sets for future use with a mass mail campaign. You can also attach a document or file to an individual or company record.  Simply title the document, give a description and insert the document. You can also indicate the number of pages and a document type. Once a document has been added, the document can be stored for later retrieval.

3:06 Using our plug-ins the Core also has the ability to integrate with Outlook, Entourage, and Apple Address Book. Here you can populate your Outlook calendar, tasks, and contacts and you can also import mail from Outlook. You have the same options with Entourage and this button here populates your Apple Address Book with your FileMaker contacts.

3:28 The Core comes complete with individual and group calendars. Here you can select the individual or group calendar. You even have the option to overlay events. As you can see here, I am viewing Melinda, Sally, and Sean’s events in a month view. There are various views in the Core such as week view as well as day view depending on what you prefer. This button here will get us back to the main contacts layout.

3:54 The Core also comes complete with task management allowing you to manage all of the tasks assigned to all of your users. Assign a status, priority level, who they’re assigned by and you can even filter your tasks by date range. Selecting this button will show the individual task.
