0:0  Introducing the File Manipulator plug in for FileMaker. This plug in allows FileMaker access to any files and folders on a local or network drive.

0:17 Let’s discuss a few of the benefits of using the File Manipulator. Using the plug in you can copy, move, rename, and delete files. Create, copy, move, rename and delete folders. This plug in basically allows you access to information outside the FileMaker Pro database to any files or folders stored on a computer or any network drives.

0:43 In addition you can obtain file or folder information, such as size, creation, modification and access dates or see if the file or folder exists. You can also quickly obtain the drive information, such as drive sizes, the file and folders names within the drives, or obtain the number of files and folders with in the drive.
